Wonderland sure loves diving shows The mini shack was put up there at least 5 years ago, it also looks out of place. The mountain is showing its age. The rust spots are pretty unattractive. Let's hope it gets back into shape over the next few years. Although I doubt you will ever be able to walk up the mountain again. Would that area at the top be considered a red zone by you ride operators?
Personally I am waiting for parachute pants, checkerboard Van sneakers and Flock oF Seagulls hair cuts to come back. The mountain is a fantastic focal point to the park, it would be great if they put a dry slide running through it on the back of the mountain. That would be fun! We knew we were looking good. I guess I will have to dig out the Afrosheen and try to remember the interworkings of America's most tempermental hairstlyle.
I also saw on the news last night that because of the popularity of the PT Curiser, many Retro cars are coming in When we went up there, we climbed back down on the inside, and the mountain is filled with a whole lot of nothing. I'm pretty sure it's a double restricted area, as the trains are quite close to the ground Well, close to the walking area thing.

Heating, Ventalation and Air Conditioning. I remember reading somewhere years and years ago that the waterfall acted as a natural air conditioner. This could of just been marketing jazz, but I'll definately look for it the next time I'm at home. I guess it is possible that they removed all of this years ago, or I'm just wrong. The mountain to me would seem kind of creepy inside. I wonder if they originally planned to have Thunder Run go inside.
If not they would of had to do a lot of reconstruction and supports. Neat, I wouldn't want to get hit by one of those cars! I'm in Ecology Atractions so pretty much anywhere they need, but usually in Expo.
And you? I assume Rides. Another pointless trivia about the mountain but apparently there was gold in the mountain during a McDonald's promotion about 15 years ago. The marketing pitch was that McDonald's had collectors cups with cartoonish images of Canada's Wonderland.
The deal was to find a similar feature or object on each cup and that is wear the money or gold was buried. I never heard the results of this promotion, but I remember it was exciting being a kid trying to figure out the clues. It was probably around the same time that Yogi Bear's house got turned into the Smurf forest house with the slanty floors Obviously, gold was never hidden in the mountain, but it is kind of a cute Wonderland urban legend. I totally must compliment you on your website. A lot of work went into it and it really shows. I really enjoy looking in the vault. A lot of memories of the pre-paramount days.
