We also train medical students, residents, and fellows in this specialized field. Our clinicians frequently make significant contributions to the field of reproductive medicine. We were instrumental in the development of preimplantation genetic screening and diagnosis.
A new partnership between the NYU Langone Fertility Center and the Prelude Fertility Network allows us to expand and further enhance our reproductive clinical services, including in vitro fertilization IVF and oocyte freezing. Our reproductive endocrinologists introduce medical students to the field, provide residents with further training in infertility, and participate in a fellowship program. Trainees obtain most of their clinical and research experience in a private office setting at the NYU Langone Fertility Center.
Our faculty provide didactic lectures and occasionally serve as preceptors for medical students during their six-week clerkship in obstetrics and gynecology.
